Warehouse Operative

We have a new opportunity for a Warehouse Operative here in Aylesbury. This is being recruited on a permanent basis with an immediate start available. Our client is a leading distributor in their industry, covering both UK and overseas. As a Warehouse Operative, duties to includes include: * Goods inwards: Receiving and inspecting goods upon arrival including checking quantities and storing in correct location. Checking for damage and missing items. * Goods outwards: Picking and packing customer orders accurately to meet deadlines and to the correct specification. Dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. * Stock control: Regular stock takes, coordinating quarantine stock materials and dealing with any stock discrepancies. * Manual handling: Re-palletise containers up to 25kg each and move stock around by hand when required. * Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks. * Ensuring workplace safety by following Health and Safety regulations. * Keeping the warehouse clean and organised to optimise efficiency. Experience of working in a warehouse environment with a racking system and being a qualified forklift truck driver is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided. * Hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 17:30 and Friday 9:00 – 17:00 * Holidays: 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays * (3 days to be taken over Christmas and New Year shutdown) * Benefits: Company pension scheme with 6.5% employer contribution. * Salary is £25,000 – £26,000 D.O.E If this sounds like it is of interest and you wish to find out more of be considered, please contact Adam Southey at Sky Personnel
