Warehouse Operative

Our client based in Aylesbury is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is being recruited on a Temp to Perm basis, with a permanent contract being offered at 12x weeks. As a Warehouse Operative, responsibilities will include: * Receiving Deliveries * Labelling & Packing * Warehouse Organisation & Stock Control * Saw Cutting – Cover Duty * Health, Safety & Quality In order to be considered, candidates should have: * Previous warehouse or goods-in experience. * The ability to work accurately when checking and labelling items. * Good attention to detail for packing and order preparation. * Be physically fit to handle manual lifting and unloading tasks. * Safety-conscious and methodical approach to work. Desirable: * Experience in labelling products to customer-specific requirements. * Forklift license (counterbalance or reach). * Experience operating saws or cutting machinery (training can be provided). * Personal Qualities * Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic. * Positive team player, willing to help across different tasks. * Flexible and adaptable to cover different warehouse roles when required. * Committed to accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction. Hours will total 37.5 per week, Full time – Monday – Thursday 0830 – 1700 and 0830 to 1430 on Friday The salary on offer is £13.58 Per hour, Equivalent salary of £26,500 per annum. There is scope for an increase once the successful candidate becomes a permanent member of staff.
