Join us as an Underwriter in our Motor Underwriting Team - we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our exciting team as we look to grow our brands and offerings.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll get stuck in straight away, soak up new experiences and most importantly you’ll positively influence and shape what we do – making an impact on our customers' lives.
  • We’ll utilise your skills where they are most needed whilst also giving you the opportunity to build and grow the breadth of your expertise.
  • Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Portfolio management of our Motor products, reviewing how we’re performing and proposing action.
  • Having a proactive focus on the development and implementation of application fraud controls.
  • Working collaboratively with our counter fraud teams.
  • Ensuring our underwriting criteria supports the delivery of our financial targets and positive customer outcomes.
  • Enacting and enhancing our underwriting controls.
  • Working together with a multi-disciplined trading team.

What you’ll need

  • Experience of managing portfolios in a personal lines insurance product, ideally Motor.
  • Experience of fraud controls at point of quote.
  • Proven track record of using your underwriting expertise to make a positive difference.
  • Comfortable analysing data to inform your decision-making.
  • Understanding of relevant insurance regulations & legislation.
  • Great interpersonal skills & stakeholder management, dealing with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Ability to innovate & work in a fast-paced environment across a breadth of initiatives.
