A manufacturing business with sites across Europe requires a HR Officer on a Part Time basis. You will be responsible for supporting the HR Manager with the provision of the HR service to the leadership team and staff. The ideal candidate will be CIPD level 3 and have experience in a manufacturing environment.

Commutable from: Stoke on Trent, Stafford, Crewe, Leek, Nantwich, Stone, Denford, Biddulph, Cheadle.

Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 pro rata

Preferred work pattern: 11am - 3pm Mon - Fri or 10am - 3pm Mon - Thurs (Some flex on some of the days to accommodate other commitments)

Reporting into the HR Manager you will have the following duties:

  • First point of contact for HR queries.
  • Coordinate internal and external recruitment requirements.
  • Provide professional advice to management.
  • Maintain and monitor absence levels.
  • Coordinate and support grievance and disciplinary.

The Person: Educated to a minimum of CIPD level 3, you will have the following experience:

  • Experience in HR in a manufacturing environment.
  • Some experience of SAP is desirable for raising purchase orders.
  • Experience of Mitrefinch systems is desirable.
  • A strong understanding of current employment legislation is essential.
