We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Spanish teacher to join our vibrant and welcoming team in Colne. If you have a love for the Spanish language and culture and enjoy inspiring students, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for someone with the ability to contribute to our drive for high standards, attainment and progress for all learners and who is able to inspire and develop outstanding classroom practice with high aspirations for themselves and others. A passion for learning with creative ideas, and an ability to build positive relationships and embed an enjoyment of your subject into lessons is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Spanish across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (Secondary School)
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and effective lessons
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation
  • Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching of languages across the curriculum

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, TEFL, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish curriculum and language skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about teaching and promoting the Spanish language and culture
  • Ability to inspire and engage students at all levels
  • Experience in teaching Spanish preferred but not essential
