We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and experienced Raw Materials Planner to join the Planning team at our site in South Kirkby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop within a dynamic food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage raw materials planning
- Order fresh and frozen proteins
- Process material change requests
- Report on beef/pork supply issues and shortages
- Coordinate beef blast and dicing plans
- Plan backloads for beef and pork
- Check and manage short shelf-life stock
- Confirm purchase orders with suppliers
- Book frozen stock into local storage
- Answer phones and liaise with customers
- Support team during holidays or absences
- Follow company procedures and health & safety standards
- Minimum 1 year of Raw Materials Planning experience (required)
- Background in administration or sales admin (preferred)
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Strong IT and data entry skills
- Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
