The position is being offered by a Fine Dining Indian cuisine restaurant in Basingstoke/Fleet. Operated by two chef patrons, the gastronomic duo developed interest in cooking at an early age watching their mums cook and assisting during family gatherings and festivals. They tuned their passion into business and created an establishment which is a truly inclusive restaurant for dietary preferences, ethical food choices, cultural tastes and health needs. It has a menu reflecting the very best of South Indian cuisine, taken from all five states of South India with an attempt to transform the perception and experience of Indian cuisine in the UK.
Your role covers assisting in a variety of duties and tasks for the smooth and efficient running of front of house operation to standards and objectives of the business including administrative, customer service and other practical tasks commensurate with position. Main function is to implement delivering polished customer experience that befits a prestige upscale restaurant.
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
- Industrial training in a world renowned hospitality institute
- Personal alcohol licence
- Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
- Strong leadership, excellent multitasking and organisational skills
- Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
