This is a HLTA role at a supportive primary school for children aged 4-11 years old, the role will be full-time, temporary (with the opportunity to become permanent).

The school is based close to the Portsmouth area for students aged from 4 to 11 years, with around 250 students. It is a mixed primary school which has a supportive and inclusive environment fostering the growth of its pupils., The HLTA position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at assisting both students and teachers. You will be actively involved in the learning process by collaborating with teaching staff to plan and deliver lessons across various subjects. Your tasks will include offering personalised support to students, particularly those with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the attention and guidance needed for their academic growth. This support will involve both individual sessions and small group activities, fostering an environment where every student feels supported and empowered to achieve success., Actively engage in the learning process by collaborating closely with teaching staff to assist in planning and delivering lessons across various subjects.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.

Qualifications:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
