I am working with a fantastic and fast-growing organisation who are looking for an L&D Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role and will give someone the opportunity to come in and develop and implement a brand-new L&D strategy alongside the people and management team.
More about the role:
- Develop Learning Strategies: Create and execute learning strategies aligned with organisational goals to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Design Training Programs: Develop e-learning courses, workshops, and other training initiatives to address skill gaps and ensure employees possess the necessary skills to meet evolving client needs.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Assess the impact of training programs on employee performance and organisational success.
- Manage Budgets and Vendors: Oversee training budgets and manage relationships with external training providers.
- Structure Skills Inventory and Skills Matrix: Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's capabilities and gaps to inform strategies and recruitment.
- Succession Planning: Implement succession planning across the group to ensure all roles have appropriate succession in place.
- Apprenticeship Programme: Develop and manage an effective apprenticeship programme in collaboration with training providers.
What you will need:
- Proven track record in developing and implementing L&D programs
- Strong understanding of learning strategies, training program design, and evaluation methods.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships.
- Experience in setting up and running training academies and implementing succession planning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
