Head of IT – Birmingham – £80,000 An opportunity has become available to join an organisation based in Birmingham. This organisation is looking for someone that shows an aptitude to learning new skills, shows a keen interest in technology and is looking to excel in this role. Key skills and experience: * Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organisational objectives * Working with other departments, determining and addressing their IT needs and requirements * Manage and lead a team responsible for delivering IT technical support for corporate employees and systems * Participates in the approval and assignment of priorities for information technology projects * Develops, implements, and monitors budgets and budget expenditures * Implement, develop and deliver improvements to our e-commerce platform * Identify and recommend innovative technology solutions that adds business value * Strategic thinking, strong technical capabilities and complex engagement delivery * Managing Firewalls with external partners · Minimum of 5 years’ experience of managing and implementing an IT function within a business. * Strong technology experience, a solid understanding of support IT services within a business at a capacity for 200+ employees.
