We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who is commercially astute, customer-obsessed, and hungry to make a measurable impact. Purpose of the role: You will take ownership of key customer relationships, ensuring they are nurtured, strengthened, and commercially successful. You will drive profitable growth by developing new business opportunities while maximising value from current accounts. With a relentless focus on customer success, you will ensure expectations are not only met but consistently exceeded. You will also support the Head of Customer Success in shaping and executing strategic objectives, with a clear focus on performance, partnership, and long-term growth. You will work between home, Dee Set offices, and client sites β spending a minimum of 3 days per week working in Dee Set head office or clients' offices based in Leeds.
Key Objectives:
- Own and grow a portfolio of high-value national retail accounts, ensuring consistent delivery and commercial success.
- Lead a team of Account Managers to build confidence, commercial acumen, and client leadership capability.
- Build deep client partnerships by being proactive, responsive, and constantly aligned to customer goals.
- Drive profitable growth, hitting and exceeding KPIs across sales, margin, and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement customer strategies, partnering closely with clients to drive category performance and deliver measurable ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to adapt quickly to changing requirements and improve service delivery.
- Ensure all customer briefs are fully invoiced and tracked from booking to invoicing, using established processes.
- Adhere to all Quality Systems, procedures and methods in line with the Dee Set Logistics Ltd operating standards.

- Demonstrated leadership capability β able to lead a team, coach individuals, and drive collective success.
- Strong strategic thinking skills β able to see the bigger picture, anticipate challenges, and plan for long-term growth.
- Analytical mindset β skilled at interpreting commercial and operational data to drive decisions.
- Strong communicator and confident presenter, clear, and credible at all levels.
- Natural problem solver with a bias for action; calm under pressure, quick on their feet.
- Financially literate β understands P&L, margin drivers, and forecasting.
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships based on trust, insight, and performance.
- Experience working at a senior level in major retailers or a strong account management background (desirable).
- Able to manage own time and prioritise workload.
Whatβs On Offer:
- Salary: Β£42,000 to Β£44,000 dependant on experience.
- 37.5 Hours a week: Monday to Friday.
- Field based role - spending a minimum of 3 days per week working in Dee Set Head Office in Stoke-On-Trent or client offices based in Leeds.
