People Advisor – HR £38,000 per annum Long Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk Permanent Full Time: 37hr per week Proposed Interview Date: Friday 20th December (TBC) We have an exciting opportunity for a People Advisor to join the People Team. The successful candidate will contribute to the operational delivery of the People plan that supports and underpins our organisational vision, culture, and strategy. They will help to deliver a professional and effective people advisory service to managers and colleagues, ensuring an excellent customer experience. Key responsibilities include: * Coach and develop managers and leaders across a wide range of integrated people practices aligned to our values and culture. * Give pragmatic people advice, and support managers with all casework, including absence, capability, investigations, disciplinary and grievance, promoting early and informal resolution such as mediation wherever possible. * Deliver people specific change programmes, managing risk and ensuring that colleagues are supported throughout. * Promote delivery of EDI and wellbeing approaches and build associated capability and confidence in managers to ensure these are embedded across policies, procedures and practices to support the creation of culture of inclusion and belonging. * Advise leaders and managers on delivery of the organisational performance framework including objective setting, appraisals and regular development conversations. * Coach and advise leaders to build people management capability, including the design and delivery of people-focused workshops.
