Your new company Our client is a large Building Services consultancy based in the Edinburgh area. Their team of highly-qualified mechanical and electrical engineers have many years of experience in all aspects of building services engineering: from preliminary planning and construction management to supplementary services upon completion. Their clients operate throughout the industrial, commercial and residential sectors. Work includes commercial offices, student accommodations, distilleries and more. This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join a well stablished practice that can offer you the access and support you need to aid your learning and development. You will have the opportunity to run your own projects, working through the RIBA stages. The office has a relaxed, flexible culture and regular social incentives take place. Your new role + What you'll need to succeed You will be joining the practice as a senior engineer. You will have previous working experience within the UK/Ireland at another building services consultancy. Lead the delivery of mechanical services scope of work across multiple projects, as part of a world-class Building Services design team. Carry out any or all stages of mechanical design from concept to completion as required by the project. Lead the preparation of enquiries for potential major projects.
