A private equity-backed retail business is seeking an immediately available Interim Financial Accountant to support the finance function during a key reporting cycle. The role requires a technically strong accountant with experience in financial reporting, audit preparation, and group consolidations. Experience in retail or hospitality is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and reports
- Manage and reconcile the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and integrity
- Support the year-end audit process, including preparation of schedules and liaising with auditors
- Produce and review group consolidated accounts
- Ensure compliance with statutory and group reporting requirements
