Deputy Nursery Manager

Key Responsibilities : Leadership and Management Support the Nursery Manager in the overall day-to-day management of the nursery. Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Nursery Manager. Lead, motivate, and mentor the nursery team to deliver exceptional childcare and education. Assist with staff development, training, and performance reviews. Operational Duties Ensure the nursery complies with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including OFSTED requirements. Maintain accurate records, including attendance, safeguarding, and incident reports. Monitor and manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate coverage at all times. Support with administrative tasks such as enrollment, parent communication, and budget management. Childcare and Education Deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework. Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning activities. Ensure all childrens individual needs are met, including those with SEND.
