Our client, a specialist investment firm backing breakthrough technologies, is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their growing team.

A truly pioneering fund, they invest in the world’s most ambitious founders building next-generation infrastructure across hardware, software, and data. With a sharp focus on emerging sectors at the edge of innovation, they combine venture capital with thought leadership, ecosystem building, and a global outlook. It’s an exciting time to come on board as they scale their platform and brand.

Role:

  • Support day-to-day marketing operations across channels, including website, events, social media, email, and content platforms
  • Draft and edit marketing copy, including blog posts, newsletters, event summaries, founder interviews, and internal comms
  • Coordinate production and distribution of marketing materials – from investor decks and reports to event collateral and branded assets
  • Help manage the content calendar and scheduling of regular campaigns
  • Assist in planning and delivering ecosystem events, both virtual and in-person, including logistics, invites, and follow-ups
  • Liaise with external partners (e.g. PR agencies, designers, or event vendors) where needed
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics β€” website traffic, engagement rates, email open rates, etc.
  • Ensure consistent tone, style, and branding across all external comms

Requirements:

  • Experience in a marketing, communications, or events role β€” either in-house, at an agency, or through relevant internships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail β€” able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and moving parts
  • Confident using social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram) for professional brand-building
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp or similar) and content management systems
  • Basic design skills β€” comfortable using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools to create branded materials
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn β€” comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Interest in emerging technologies, startups, and venture capital β€” especially deep tech or science-led innovation
