Renewals Account Team Lead – SaaS | Up to £45,000 base + Bonus | Hybrid (Bath)

We’re hiring on behalf of a high-growth SaaS company that’s scaling fast – and showing no signs of slowing down. With an award-winning product, strong customer retention, and over 50% year-on-year revenue growth, our client is leading the charge in helping UK businesses win public sector work.

They’ve built an enviable customer base of thousands, and now they’re looking for a commercially sharp, people-driven Renewals Account Team Lead to manage and develop a high-performing renewals team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of the Renewals team to hit and exceed NRR and GRR targets
  • Coaching and mentoring RAMs/SRAMs against KPIs and metrics
  • Managing a small portfolio of high-value renewals yourself
  • Driving upsell, upgrade, and extension opportunities across the team
  • Reviewing and approving customer proposals to ensure quality and consistency
  • Forecasting performance and providing weekly reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director
  • Leading daily and weekly team huddles to provide focus and drive motivation
  • Supporting onboarding and training of new hires
  • Maintaining a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a team in a customer success or renewals environment (ideally SaaS)
  • 5+ years in account management, renewals, or customer success
  • Strong track record in hitting commercial retention and upsell targets
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and objection-handling skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to spot performance trends and act on them
  • CRM experience (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Empathetic, energetic, and solutions-focused leadership style

The Package

  • Up to £45,000 base salary (depending on experience)
