We’re looking for a motivated Pre Sales Solution Consultant with a strong history of success to join our dynamic sales team. This role involves working closely with Sales, Technical Sales and Product teams to grow the business and deliver on team-wide initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and deliver best in class demos of the Varicent suite of applications across Europe, most notably France and Southern Europe.
  • Ability to technically qualify opportunities according to the identified capabilities of the Varicent Sales Performance Management solutions.
  • Perform detailed discovery for sales opportunities to qualify and scope prospect challenges, determine product fit, and identify areas where Varicent can deliver differentiated value.
  • Develop and deliver best in class technical sales activities such as Proof of Concepts and Hands on Workshops.
  • Present Varicent application and cloud architecture to technical audiences.
  • Respond to RFI/RFP technical and functional requirements, and help maintain our internal RFP response library.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for feature enhancements based on client feedback and evolving industry requirements.
  • Partner with Compliance and Performance teams to address security, regulatory, and performance-related inquiries from prospects and clients.

Post-Sales Enablement:

  • Support onboarding efforts by ensuring technical alignment and knowledge transfer from the presales process to implementation teams.

Thought Leadership and Strategic Advocacy:

  • Represent the company at industry events, delivering technical thought leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to strategic clients, providing long-term guidance to maximize platform adoption and business impact.

Metrics and Continuous Improvement:

  • Track and analyze metrics related to pre-sales support, RFP response effectiveness, and issue resolution to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to refining processes, documentation, and internal alignment to enhance client and prospect experiences.

Demo Operations:

  • Contribute to and support demo operations, including standard demo model enhancements, demo environment strategy and execution, and other demo assets.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 15+ years presales experience selling enterprise SaaS software solutions, including at least 3 years in Sales Performance Management, with prior experience of consultative selling to both senior leaders and business users.
  • A native French speaker. Fluency in German, Italian or Spanish would be beneficial.
  • Proven experience of driving growth within French speaking markets and across Southern Europe.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring, testing and delivering Sales Performance Management solutions.
  • Deep technical expertise including architecture, security, and integrations.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to understand complicated operations and clearly articulate relevant and differentiated business value.
  • Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate internal/external teams and vendor partners.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering presentations targeted to senior-level and highly technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to facilitate knowledge transfer and translate complex technical issues into compelling business benefits.
  • Exceptional client management skills, including creating, developing and managing executive business relationships.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and energetic with a positive attitude and desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting quota and effectively managing all technical aspects of Enterprise sales transactions from start to close.
  • Coachable and team-oriented with a desire to work in a fast-paced, independent environment.
  • Team player proactively sharing and documenting knowledge with the wider Solution Consulting and Sales teams: Best practices, available demo assets, customer stories and experiences.
