About the Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and leading a high-performing team. Your focus will be on operational excellence, team development, and achieving ambitious performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations: Oversee all daily store activities, including opening and closing. Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation. Manage stock levels, inventory replenishment, and shrinkage control.
- Sales & Customer Service: Set and monitor sales goals and KPIs. Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times. Support staff with sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop store team members. Create and manage rotas, monitor payroll hours, and assign duties. Inspire a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Financial Management: Monitor store budgets and financial performance. Prepare and present sales and operational reports.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards. Promote a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.

- Experience & Knowledge: Proven management experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong background in team leadership, recruitment, and performance management. Confident decision-maker with the ability to lead through change and under pressure. Experience in operational retail processes, including stock control and store security.
- Skills: Adaptable leadership style with empathy and emotional intelligence. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Strong IT, time management, and analytical capabilities. Numerate, literate, and detail-oriented. Resilient and self-motivated.
