In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding new insurance agents and assisting in integrating new markets into our brokerage. You will work closely with both agents and internal teams to ensure smooth transitions, proper training, and effective operational alignment.
Role Accountabilities- Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding new insurance agents, from initial contact through to full integration into the brokerage.
- Facilitate the completion of all required documentation and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and organisational standards.
- Serve as the point of contact, answering questions and resolving issues during the onboarding process.
- Coordinate the integration of new markets into the brokerage, including working with internal teams to establish relationships with new carriers, products, and services.
- Assist in setting up the necessary infrastructure to support new markets, ensuring smooth operational processes for agents.
- Ensure internal databases and external platforms are maintained and updated.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing agents, addressing their concerns and helping them navigate any challenges during their onboarding process.
- Collaborate with other teams, including compliance and marketing to ensure that all agents are supported and equipped to succeed.
- Any additional duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a role focused on agent relations, training, or onboarding.
- Familiarity with insurance products, regulations, and market structures.
- Experience in working with external partners or brokers is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with insurance management software (CRM systems, etc.).
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenges and manage multiple tasks at once.
- A passion for customer service and ensuring agents have the tools and support they need to succeed.
