RINA is looking for experienced Mechanical Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

  • Requested: Painting/Coating - Level II under FROSIO or NACE or equivalent certification (Mandatory)
  • Welding Inspector (SCWI), or CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector (SWI), or EWIP/IWIP-C (preferred)
  • NDT- level2 VT, MT, PT, RT and/or UT (preferred)
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Mechanical Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering or graduate from high school in relevant branches) / certificates such as NDT, welding, coating, etc.
  • Experience as Mechanical Inspector (min. 3 years); Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises.
  • Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections.
  • Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
  • Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need.
  • Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service.
  • Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, UK
  • Please note, we can only consider residents in the UK for this position.
  • Period: 2nd June – 7th June 2025 (ad-hoc)
  • Contract: To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activities.
