RINA is looking for experienced Mechanical Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.
- Requested: Painting/Coating - Level II under FROSIO or NACE or equivalent certification (Mandatory)
- Welding Inspector (SCWI), or CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector (SWI), or EWIP/IWIP-C (preferred)
- NDT- level2 VT, MT, PT, RT and/or UT (preferred)
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Mechanical Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering or graduate from high school in relevant branches) / certificates such as NDT, welding, coating, etc.
- Experience as Mechanical Inspector (min. 3 years); Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises.
- Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections.
- Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
- Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need.
- Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service.
