Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our long standing client based in Maidstone, Kent. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Night 360 Operator. This is a full time, permanent position working for a very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression. Night shift 4 on and 4 off - 12 hour shifts 7pm-7am.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating and maintaining plant in a safe and responsible manner, being mindful of all other site users and visitors, at all times.
  • Ensuring production targets are met by optimising operations whilst working as a team with other operators and site staff.
  • Effectively reporting defects and issues with plant machinery and equipment to Site Supervisor.
  • Keeping in constant communication with Supervisors and other Operators.
  • Ensure all company procedures are always followed, with special focus on Health & Safety.
  • Report all accidents and incidents in accordance with company rules, assisting with specific investigations as appropriate.

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of the waste and metals.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of associated plant and machinery with the correct tickets.
  • Shows safety and environmental awareness throughout the industry and site permits.
  • Identify areas for continual improvement and finding ways to resolve issues.
  • Willingly take on additional workload to help other team members while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work nationwide.
  • Good understanding of plant and machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of the relevant plant including daily inspections and servicing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
