Join a leading team delivering exceptional audiovisual services at two of London's most prestigious 5-star hotels. As an AV Technician, you’ll be the face of high-end event production, ensuring seamless technical delivery, outstanding customer service, and impeccable onsite presentation. You'll play a key role in setup, derig, client interaction, and technical support, contributing to a premium experience for high-profile hotel clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and derig AV equipment daily at the hotels.
- Oversee all technical aspects of assigned events—from kit prep to live delivery.
- Respond quickly and professionally to on-site changes or requests.
- Maintain clear storage areas and a high standard of equipment readiness.
- Perform basic repairs, maintenance, and coordinate with third parties when needed.
- Support cross-hire planning and equipment logistics from head office.
- Ensure accurate stock management before and after events.
Client Experience:
- Be well-presented and customer-facing at all times.
- Provide a professional, proactive service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Brief clients on how to use equipment and provide technical reassurance.
- Build rapport with hotel staff and clients through clear and courteous communication.
Operational Support & Sales:
- Proactively identify and report additional AV opportunities to enhance the event.
- Support in preparing quotes and invoices using RentalWorks software when required.
- Attend meetings and site visits in the absence of the Account Manager.
- Assist in revenue generation through upselling where appropriate.

- Strong hands-on experience in audiovisual setup and troubleshooting.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise under pressure.
- A proactive team player with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Flexible with working hours, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend cover.
Physical Requirements:
This is an active, hands-on role requiring regular lifting (up to 25kg), use of stairs/ladders, and work in varied environmental conditions. Clear communication and excellent visual and aural awareness are essential.
