The role is to start ASAP. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location – Wakefield Position – SEMH Teaching Assistant Start Date – January End Date – N/A Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing Full time/Part-time – Full Time Contract Type: Long term Hours – 08:30 – 3:30 The Minimum Rate of Pay – GBP85 per day. EXPERIENCE Relevant experience in a school or similar setting. Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Experience of effectively and positively managing a class and leading learning with groups of pupils, using appropriate strategies to enable them to settle to learn. Experience of using restorative practices TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS GCSE English/Maths at grade A to C or equivalent. Level 3 qualification. Level 4 qualification. Specific training in interventions/SEN/SEMH. Commitment to all CPD offered.
