Fully onsite role. £43.48 / hr umbrella
The successful candidate will primarily be providing level 2/3 Network helpdesk support to EAME based facilities, including factories, offices, and warehouses.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- At least 3 years’ experience of Cisco network technologies
- Cisco CCNA qualification (required)
- Any CISCO qualification above CCNA will be a significant plus
There is an expectation that some out-of-hours work will be required, so flexibility will be expected, joining the on-call rotation for 1 week every 2 months.
Key responsibilities include:
- IOS upgrade
- WLC controller configuration
- Cisco Router and Switch configuration
- Configure and maintain CISCO 3850, 9300 and 9500
- Knowledge of 9800 controllers
- Familiarity with firewall designs
- Understanding of related technologies (DNS, DHCP etc.)
- Fault finding skills
- Good documentation skills
- Basic knowledge of ticketing software (Service Now / Remedy / Peregrine)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Putty, and other network tools
