A rare opportunity for a commercially sharp, technically minded professional to step into a strategic, national role in the fast-moving electronics and automation industry. Your focus will be on selling a range of PCB-mounted connectivity solutions - including power, signal and data connectors - across OEMs and Electronic Contract Manufacturers in the UK.
You will be targeting design engineers and development teams at the very earliest stages of the product lifecycle, aiming to get products specified and designed in. Roughly 70% of the role is direct sales, working closely with blue-chip OEMs and growing mid-size firms. The remaining 30% involves collaboration with major distribution partners such as Arrow Electronics to drive project-based value.
In addition to sales, you will support product management activities in the UK, working with European counterparts to align strategies, support trade events, and deliver technical presentations. This is a high-impact role that combines new business generation, technical influence, and brand development in one of the most exciting verticals in electronics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in field sales, selling electronic components or technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of OEMs, ECMS, and the design-in sales process.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Experience working with design engineers and procurement teams.
- Any background in product management, trade events, or cross-border collaboration is a bonus.
The Package:
- Basic salary: £55,000 - £65,000.
- 10-15% annual bonus.
