Job Description
Job Role: Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Salary: £45,000-£65,000 + Competitive package (depending on level of experience)
Location: Basingstoke, Dewsbury or Warrington (hybrid working available)
Our client is a leading contractor with the design, build & maintenance of water treatment projects throughout the UK. They have an established in-house design team and are looking for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer (Senior / Principal grade) to join them on a permanent basis. The work will be varied and involves projects from multiple frameworks for AMP8.
About the Role:
- Meeting with Clients to discuss specific intervention requirement
- Carry out intrusive Electrical and ICA site surveys to Identify the most appropriate solutions to complex problems
- Carry out the planning and implementation of the project
- Line management and development of assigned EICA staff
- Taking the lead on the development of EICA design deliverables by you and your team
- Providing technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team
About you:
- Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering
- Chartered or near Chartership.
- Have design experience on UK Water and Wastewater projects
- Knowledge of British and European design standards
- Minimum of 5 years proven track record as an Electrical Engineer in both a design office and in a construction environment
