Head of Compliance & Ethics

Join a major European food and consumer goods manufacturer as Head of Ethics & Compliance. In this senior leadership role, you’ll take the lead on delivering a world-class compliance programme across a network of operating companies within a multinational group.

🌍 The Role

• Lead the Ethics & Compliance function across European operations.
• Design and implement policies, training plans, risk assessments, and internal frameworks to support a strong compliance culture.
• Provide expert guidance across GDPR, anti-corruption, criminal finances, antitrust, vendor compliance, and whistleblower management.
• Collaborate with senior executives and key departments to report performance and ensure accountability.
• Drive consistency and efficiency in compliance activities and reporting.
• Lead and develop a high-performing regional compliance team.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experienced legal or compliance professional (UK qualified or equivalent), ideally with 8+ years in complex, multinational environments.
• Proven knowledge of regulatory risk, compliance frameworks, and business ethics.
• Strong expertise in data privacy, anti-bribery, and corporate governance.
• Project management capability and a calm, proportionate approach to emerging challenges.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Flexibility to travel across the UK and Europe.
