The Role Do you have a UK Drone Pilot Licence (GVC) and at least three years of survey experience? As a Geospatial Surveyor and UAV Pilot , you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and innovative surveying solutions. From UAV mapping to land and engineering surveys, you’ll work on a wide variety of projects that challenge and inspire you. If this sounds like the next step in your surveying career, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Undertake a variety of land and engineering surveys, including UAV mapping. Ensure all data capture, management and deliverables adhere to project requirements. Operate and maintain survey equipment and software, including CAD and processing tools. Assess and manage survey risks, exclusions and limitations. Travel to various sites, with occasional overnight stays. The Person UK Remote Pilot Licence (GVC) At least 3 years of geospatial survey experience working in several sectors and types At least 1 years of UAV mapping experience Experience in Photogrammetry is desirable Proficient in the use of various survey and data capture equipment Proficient in CAD and survey processing software High quality and discipline with all surveying methods, data management and deliverables Experience of dealing with the survey risks, caveats and exclusions and limitations 5 GCSE’s (including Maths and English) at C grade or above Full UK eligible driving license and own transport is essential Required to travel and occasional work away from home. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong numerical and written capabilities, with the ability to meet tight deadlines independently Strong knowledge of survey principles, practices, and techniques.
