Purpose of the role: Design, develop, and implement systems to enhance and support the business. Responsible for systems analysis, design, and build of the proposed solution and for ensuring successful development to produce an effective IT service.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Analysing and designing software solutions that most effectively meet the requirements of the business
- Take responsibility for the development of user stories
- Deliver agreed artefacts to support understanding and supportability of your deliverables
- Consistently develop high-quality software to committed dates
- Develop unit tests that ensure the delivered component will meet its agreed objectives
- Work closely with the agile team to develop to agreed acceptance criteria
- Maintain and apply an in-depth understanding of current systems to develop practical business solutions disseminating knowledge and best practice to colleagues
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of technical standards for use by the team and/or department as a whole to promote the quality and effectiveness of IT Solutions
- Identify issues or problems which may jeopardise project deadlines or compromise the solution required and highlight/escalate any issues or concerns to your Delivery Manager
- Providing technical assistance to resolve immediate project/service issues
- Contributing to projects in a range of different areas as required e.g. resolving design issues, analysing test feedback, QA
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies
- Ensure all tracking tools are kept up to date on a daily basis

- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
