We are delighted to be continuing our long-term partnership with Great Places to recruit their new Chief Transformation Officer (CTO). Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this role will lead the strategic and cultural transformation of the organisation, harnessing the skills and talents of existing teams and leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and excellence in service delivery. This role is crucial in shaping the future of the organisation as a modern, resilient and customer centric business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with the Chief Executive and Board to develop and deliver a corporate strategy that advances the vision of "Great Homes, Great Communities, and Great People."
- Lead the design and implementation of the organisation’s transformation strategy, driving a cohesive approach across people, technology, and processes.
- Encourage a culture of innovation, leveraging both existing and emerging technologies to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure seamless operations, providing guidance and leadership through the complexities of business transformation.
- Manage the line of responsibility for directors across Technology Services, Transformation, People, and Communications.
- Develop and monitor transformation goals, measure progress, and communicate results to demonstrate tangible impact.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align transformation strategies with organisational needs, customer priorities, and external partnerships.
- Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion, building a diverse workforce and driving a culture of belonging.
Great Places is looking to appoint an executive leader with the following attributes:
- Significant senior/executive level leadership experience, preferably in a social housing or similarly highly regulated context.
- Excellent knowledge of the issues facing social housing providers and their customers.
- Expertise in driving operating model transformation and aligning technology, people, and processes to achieve sustainable business change.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative mindset, influencing across all levels of the organisation.
- Exceptional communication and cultural intelligence, able to lead change while respecting organisational history and values.
- Deep understanding of the latest technological trends, with a proven track record of using technology to drive organisational transformation.
- A passion for customer service excellence, with a data-driven approach to enhancing service delivery.
- Experience in leading and delivering cultural change within large, complex organisations.
