Are you a performance and emissions engineer local to Stafford? Our renowned manufacturing client-based needs you to join the Product Engineering Development department for an initial a 12-month contract. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering engineering activity as part of the diesel products development activity. This role involves, engine performance calibration, analysing data and trends, root cause corrective action and validation of corrective actions. Your three years of diesel engine experience needs to cover Diesel Engine Performance, using the Vector Suite of tools for example Canape Emission measurement technique Experience with emissions measurement hardware E.G. Horiba MEXA, Gaseous Analysers, Sierra / Cambustion Particulate Analysers, and Partial flow systems, AVL Smoke / MicroSoot, Opacimeter instruments Turbocharger matching, fuel system optimisation and control system development Education A degree qualified engineering or similar qualified person is required.
