Deputy Manager – Children’s EBD Service Location: Northampton Salary: £33,500 per annum Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)? Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join their 5-bed EBD service in Northampton. Key Responsibilities: Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service. Lead and manage the team, ensuring a high standard of care and support for the children. Oversee the care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes. Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, promoting personal development. Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children. Requirements: Previous experience in a children’s residential setting, preferably with EBD services. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team. A thorough understanding of safeguarding, care plans, and Ofsted regulations. NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent), with a willingness to work towards Level 5.
