We’re working with a top-tier international law firm on a newly created opportunity within their Intellectual Property team in London. This is a permanent position offering exposure to high-profile clients across the retail, fashion, luxury, and tech sectors. The team is collaborative and supportive, and they’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented paralegal who is genuinely passionate about intellectual property. This is not a stepping-stone for someone with a training contract lined up—this is for someone who wants to grow their IP career and be part of a thriving, specialist team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting on trade mark, design, and copyright matters across UK, EU, and international jurisdictions
- Conducting clearance and enforcement research
- Drafting and filing applications, liaising with agents and offices globally
- Managing and maintaining IP records and databases
- Assisting on monitoring, knowledge management, and client updates
What you’ll need:
- Solid IP experience as a paralegal, ideally including trade mark and design prosecution
- Strong academic background and excellent research skills
- Great attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Familiarity with IP tools and platforms (e.g., SAEGIS, TMView, Darts-IP)
