Application Specialist Bristol,( twice a week) Duration: 6 Months * As an Application Specialist, primary objective is to bring end to end cards processing knowledge and application expertise in TS2 (TSYS) or First Vision (Fiserv) within the team to do Impact Assessments and train the team in developing Test Automation packs. * Learn the Cards processing platforms, high-level architecture, data architecture, and the configuration capabilities. * Learn and apply IT policies, such as data compliance and controls * Analyze platform data and lead on implementing improvements. * Collaborate with vendors to raise system issues and manage the resolution to conclusion, always looking for opportunities to improve ways of working. * Incident and problem management to continuously improve product performance. * Ready to learn new automation tools and developing the pack. Key skills/knowledge/experience: * Good understanding of software systems and configuration. * Knowledge of Cards processing platforms is highly desirable (TSYS TS2/ Fiserv First Vision). * End to End Credit Commercial Cards Lifecycle, Scheme/Network processing. * Ability to write VB Macros and run macros in Mainframe Systems. * Experience in Product/Scheme migration in TSYS TS2/ Fiserv First Vision. * Participate in Functional and User Acceptance Testing as and when required Support Testing team, training team with functionality. * Basic skills in a software programming language and interest to learn more (preferably node.js/typescript). * Experience with agile delivery methods, JIRA, including planning, tracking, and problem-solving. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions efficiently, ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
