Role: Wireless Installation AssistantLocation: Oxford – 5 days OnsiteContract Role: 3 Months Initially£100 – £135 per day Must have driving Licence Post overview: The Wireless Installation Assistant will be part of the networks team who will provide operational support between network teams and the Improving Wireless Programme. The postholder will work in a busy environment and will be part of a team responsible for collecting technical and building information, creating wireless designs for University buildings, configuring and installing our centralised Wi-Fi product across University buildings. The postholder will undertake a wide variety of work that includes basic configuration when required (training provided), preparing Wi-Fi hardware for installation, providing cover to the Installation Officer, whilst also processing first line support incidents raised through our Oxford Service Manager tool. You will be required to work closely with other members of the team and be guided by more senior members of the team..
