IT Technician

Job Overview I am seeking a skilled IT Technician to join my Black Country based client. This role will be key in providing technical support to a growing business, and will ensure their IT systems operate smoothly. I require a proactive individual who can communicate effectively with users and prioritise & resolve issues efficiently. The IT Technician will work with various operating systems & programs, including Office 365, and will be instrumental in maintaining computer hardware and software. Responsibilities Provide IT support to users across the organisation, resolving network, hardware and software issues promptly. Troubleshoot software problems and implement effective solutions Install, maintain and configure computer hardware, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly. Support the transition towards company-wide use of AI and cloud based technology. Setting up new starters/users, providing guidance on equipment & software use. Updating/maintaining the company intranet and SharePoint. Provision of training to users Identifying potential data security risks and maintaining a safe working environment Build & repair laptops, set up desk tops and manage company mobile usage.
