My clients are currently seeking an Engineering Process Operative to join their highly skilled Engineering Team with immediate effect. As world leaders within Aviation & Aerospace Manufacturing, our preferred candidate should have the following skills & attributes: The successful candidate will: Be working in a multi-skilled cell to operate a number of processes. As such this area requires someone with good team working skills and able to work on their own initiative to maximise the productivity of the area to support business requirements. Complete processes which involve HCF Die loading, shot blasting and cleaning, in line with set standards and procedures. These processes are strictly controlled and require adherence to health and safety policy. The operations have a high manual handling content. What profile are we looking for? Core Duties and Responsibilities will include: * Shot Blasting process * Cleaning parts using various approved cleaning techniques (manual and machine) * HCF Die loading * Operating machinery * Working to quality procedures and implementing improvement activities * Supporting cost reduction initiatives * Working process improvements * Support production to ensure product flow in the factory * Assist in resolving technical problems It is essential that the successful candidate: * Has experience in cellular production line * Has knowledge of the processes mentioned above * Has a professional and flexible attitude * Has the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels * Has up-to-date working knowledge of Health and Safety * Can work a multi shift working pattern It is desirable that the successful candidate: * Has previous Aerospace experience * Has previous chemical process line experience Who will I work with (in my team and in collaboration with other areas)? What are the working hours? Shifts – 37 hours per week working on the following 3 Shift Pattern: Earlies / Afters / Nights
