Operations Superintendent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced maritime professional to join a dynamic Fleet Department as an Operations Superintendent. This key role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of assigned vessels, supporting both commercial and technical teams across a range of global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee navigation, cargo, ballast, and mooring operations for fleet vessels.
- Ensure compliance with safety management systems and international regulations.
- Attend vessels worldwide to supervise operations and monitor performance.
- Liaise with charterers, agents, and internal teams on operational matters.
- Support inspections, risk assessments, and emergency response activities.
- Contribute to budgeting, personnel appraisals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Weβre Looking For:
- Previous sea-going experience as Chief Officer or above, must have sailed on chemical/oil tankers.
- Strong operational knowledge and understanding of shipboard practices.
- Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
