As a Technology Business Development Manager / Client Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities, primarily focused on custom AI, Data & Cloud Services delivered via Statement of Work (SoW). You will build strong client relationships, understand technical needs, and position our services as strategic solutions.
We are looking for ambitious professionals who understand the value of relationship-driven selling and have a track record of closing services-based deals in the tech sector. You’ll work closely with our technical, delivery, and marketing teams to craft compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and help shape the future of nearshore delivery. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with an emphasis on consultative sales, solution scoping, and client trust-building.
Key Responsibilities- New Business Acquisition
- Identify and qualify new clients in target industries (e.g., fintech, SaaS, Energy, Healthtech).
- Drive outbound prospecting and convert inbound leads into qualified opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed SoW.
- Consultative Selling
- Uncover client needs and position Remobi’s capabilities as tailored solutions.
- Work with internal technical teams to scope SoWs, estimate delivery efforts, and shape engagements.
- Conduct client presentations and technical discovery sessions.
- Proposal & Contract Management
- Draft and present customized proposals and SoW documents.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and deliverables.
- Ensure seamless handoff to delivery and maintain involvement through project kick-off.
- Market Intelligence
- Track trends in remote delivery, digital transformation, and the nearshore market.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and delivery teams to refine messaging and offerings.
- Relationship Building & Expansion
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with client stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and referrals.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development within software/IT consulting.
- Proven experience selling SoW-based software delivery services.
- Familiarity with agile development, cloud technologies, and nearshore team dynamics.
- Strong understanding of UK & EU tech buyer behaviour and procurement processes.
- Experience selling to Series B–C startups, fast scaling business or enterprises going through large tech transformations.
- Experience selling services in cloud (AWS, Azure), Software Engineering, or AI & Data Engineering.
- Familiarity with compliance and procurement processes in enterprise environments.
- Previous success in expanding accounts post-initial engagement.
