A leading manufacturer based in Andover is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work on advanced manufacturing processes in a high-tech, mission-critical environment.
The Role
You’ll support production teams and senior engineers to ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently, meet quality standards, and support the delivery of high-performance electronic products. The role involves continuous improvement, hands-on problem solving, process optimisation, and support for new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day engineering activities and medium to long-term projects
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Train and mentor operators and junior engineers
- Assist with process validation, documentation, and compliance
- Support troubleshooting, quality investigations, and audits
- Contribute to the introduction of new products and technologies
Requirements
- Degree / HNC / HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
- Experience in a manufacturing, clean room or engineering environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of production processes and quality standards
- Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally
