Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.45pm and Friday 8.00 – 13.00

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Administrator for our client based in Birmingham city centre. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and preferably has some experience in Lab/Sciences or Surface Modification or Finishes. Attention to detail is critical. The successful applicant should be technically minded, flexible and willing to learn in a dynamic industry. Ideally from the Aerospace, Automotive or Engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support with technical records and documentation
  • Monitor websites for updates to specifications
  • Manage all technical documentation on in-house systems
  • Support and update specifications on jobs and work cards
  • Be fully conversant in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Corresponding with clients directly via phone and email
  • You must have the ability to write and update internal process specifications
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Administration & Technical experience - minimum of 2 years
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good organisational skills, including own time management
  • Good IT skills and comfortable being trained on software systems
  • Good attention to detail with an interest in technical issues and being able to offer the right solutions
