Salary: £27,000 per annum rising to £28,500 after completion of successful probation period

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Bristol BS10 & BS37 (must have a car to travel between Centres)

Join us as an Employment Advisor! The role involves attracting, registering, and guiding participants towards successful placements. Utilising diagnostic skills, individual and group coaching, and optimising available funding, you\’ll empower individuals to secure sustainable employment.
You must have full UK driving license as role requires travel. You\’ll operate across various locations, including fixed sites and community venues ensuring accessibility for all. Meeting targets and adhering to program obligations and processes is essential in this role.
What youll do
Build and maintain relationships with the Job Centre Plus and other relevant Partners through regular telephone contact, visits, and newsletters as appropriate to ensure participants are aware of our services and to allay any concerns, they may have with accessing or utilising our services.
Sign participants up to the programme following system and process guidance e.g., accurate and timely completion of documentation.
Explain our service offering (details of the programme) including ensuring the participant understands their rights and responsibilities (e.g., complaints & feedback process), whilst registering the participant in accordance with contractual obligations and eligibility criteria
Identify, clarifies, and manages the participant expectations of the process including data protection, confidentiality and ground rules of the programme and the relationship to achieve buy-in to the programme
Develop and manage participants job goals using creative techniques and deep level questioning as necessary for the participants needs to assist with diagnosis and progression
Engage and empower participants whilst delivering group training sessions, with the aim of progressing them to achieve sustainable employment.
What youll need
Level 2 English and Maths as a minimum
Experience of working in a performance target driven environment. Examples of such experience may include working as an Employment Advisor on a similar contract, being a Recruitment Consultant or experience of Business Development roles, sales targets in a retail business or call centre etc.
Technical skills include strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills, basic numeracy skills and good written communication/record keeping skills
Personal interests include interest in people and willingness to learn
Personal circumstances include willingness to travel locally (e.g., to meet participants/employers)
Full UK driving license as role requires travel.
Overseas equivalent qualifications will be accepted.
