As Factory Glazier, you will be responsible for cutting, handling, installing, and finishing glass for various projects, including windows, doors, and custom installations.
You will work with a team of skilled professionals in a production environment, ensuring every piece meets our high standards for accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure, cut, shape, and finish glass pieces for installation.
- Prepare and handle glass safely and securely to prevent damage during installation.
- Assemble and fit glass into frames, doors, casements, or other structures according to specifications.
- Inspect glass for defects and ensure all pieces meet quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring theyre in safe and efficient working condition.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality outcomes.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7.30AM – 4.30PMand Fridays: 7AM – 1.30PM
Monday to Thursday: 3:45PM – 12.00AM and Fridays: 1.00PM – 8:30PM
Hourly Rate:
£13.00 per hour for the morning shift
£17.33 per hour for theafternoon shift
Skills/ Experience:
- Proven experience as a Glazier, preferably in a factory or production setting
- Knowledge of glass cutting, handling, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and measurements accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift and handle large glass panels
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a factory environment
