Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Lecturer in English to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture team on a 0.81 FTE permanent basis. Please note the expected start date for this role is Wednesday, 20th August 2025.

As a Lecturer in English, you will be joining our Ofsted Rated Good Colleges Group delivering effective teaching programs within your competency areas, focusing on developing independent learners and facilitating student progression. Working closely with Specialist Learning Coaches, you will assist learners facing barriers to learning and help them break through these barriers to ensure high levels of student attendance, retention, and achievement. This includes engaging in the assessment of learners from application, progression, setting targets and milestones, and providing necessary support where needed.

The successful candidate will ideally possess a level 3 or higher qualification in English as well as a recognised teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one within the first 2 years in role. Experience and knowledge of ongoing curriculum development and managing the learning process, as well as the ability to demonstrate successful experience in supporting learners to high achievement, are essential.
