Oaklands Global are currently seeking a Production Manager for one of our leading Aircraft Component companies. The ideal applicant will be able to significantly impact the production environment and make a significant contribution. As a vital member of a small business's core management team, the production manager will be responsible for future expansion and opportunity realization.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing manufacturing and production processes.
- Creating and executing daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.
- Determining production tooling and equipment needs and taking responsibility for its maintenance.
- Driving innovation throughout all elements of production.
- Consulting with suppliers on manufacturing projects; implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
- Implementing company procedures and policies.
- Communicating any problems or obstacles to top management and assisting with resolution.
- Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control and producing KPIs.
- Maintaining a training matrix for manufacturing employees and tracking progress of training.
- Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of applicable aerospace quality standards.
- Implementing and adhering to Health and Safety Requirements.
Requirements
- Able to work with initiative and without constant supervision.
- Desire to achieve and continuously improve systems and processes.
