We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client—a market leader in building envelope solutions—for a Head of Engineering Projects to join their thriving team. This is a key leadership role where you’ll take full ownership of engineering projects from concept through to completion, driving innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence.

The Role

  • Lead a team of skilled engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest standards.
  • From technical problem-solving and risk management to cross-functional collaboration and production support, this role puts you at the centre of strategic delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering project team
  • Own project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Drive innovation in processes and project outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with safety, design, and quality standards
  • Collaborate across engineering, commercial, and client teams
  • Provide support for production through technical leadership and training
  • Track KPIs and continuously improve delivery performance

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong leadership in engineering project management (ideally in manufacturing)
  • NVQ, BTEC or equivalent in Engineering (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, risk management, and stakeholder skills
  • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Strategic thinking and technical problem-solving expertise
