HGV Class 2 Driver – Harlow

Type: Ongoing, long-term work
Pay: £22.00 per hour + holiday pay (PAYE)

We are seeking a flexible driver who can work when required. Rotas are issued one month in advance, with 5 shifts guaranteed per week.

What’s on Offer

• £22.00 per hour for all hours worked + holiday pay
• Flexible shifts – ideal candidates will be available Friday to Monday
• Delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient goods
• Guaranteed minimum 8 hours per shift (typical shifts 9–13 hours)

• Full training provided, including use of an electric pallet truck

The Role

You’ll be delivering goods to convenience stores using a Class 2 (Rigid) vehicle, following planned routes and maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and professionally operate a Class 2 vehicle
• Complete 6–8 multi-drop deliveries per shift
• Carry out daily vehicle checks
• Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
• Adhere to all transport and road safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service at every stop

Requirements

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
• Valid CPC qualification & Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DRs, CD10s, IN10s)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules
