Surveyor

Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Surveyor to work on their newly awarded contract in the Penrhyndeudraeth area

For the successful Surveyor our client is offering:

• Day rate of circa £450 (Negotiable depending on experience and skillset)
• Days role
• Temporary contract (12 months)
• Based on-site full-time
• Start ASAP

The Role – Surveyor:

• Provide regular surveying and monitoring of completed and ongoing works, ensuring full documentation and compliance.
• Deliver accurate setting out data and site control points to the construction team.
• Carry out as-built and deformation monitoring surveys to track movement or changes in critical structures.
• Collaborate with Site Engineers to ensure correct data collection and reporting protocols are followed.
• Upload/download setting out data to/from instruments and ensure records are updated accurately.
• Produce survey reports, calculations, and documentation for submission to the project management team.
• Identify and escalate any anomalies or risks discovered through monitoring works.
• Maintain compliance with HSE and QA standards, and support audits and inspections as required.

What our client is looking for in a Surveyor:

• Civil Engineering Degree or similar – ESSENTIAL
• Advanced geodetic surveying and deformation monitoring skills – ESSENTIAL
• Clear understanding of the requirements of setting out – ESSENTIAL
• Good knowledge of legislation, hazards and safe systems of work – ESSENTIAL
• Must be happy to be based on site full-time
