Morson Talent currently have an opportunity available for Planner to work at or prestigious aerospace client in Yeovil. This is an initial 1 year contract, with potential of extension. The Planning role is responsible for developing and maintaining the project master schedule in accordance with the contract, through direct liaison with other business functions. Ensuring the integrity of data throughout the project life cycle. Preparing reports to provide project status information to the programmes team and customer. Identifying schedule, cost variances, and work with the programme team and directly with business functions to establish corrective actions. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the schedule in accordance with the work breakdown structure (WBS), contracted scope, delivery dates, and financial baseline and procedures. Work with the Project teams to ensure timely monthly updates. Ensure the schedule and SAP data are aligned to identify any data inaccuracies and proactively strive to correct any issues. Assess progress and analyse the impact of forecast changes (schedule and financial) to identify threats at the earliest opportunity. Work with the project team to perform critical path and ‘what if’ schedules. Control the project baseline (schedule and financial) to reflect any contracted amendments.
