Opus people solutions on behalf of Cambridge County Council have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join their Children\\\’s MASH Assessment team.
Job Title: Team Manager – MASH
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate: £44
Location: Huntgindon, Cambridge
Remote/Office based: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Review all incoming referrals to MASH, ensuring each is properly allocated, assessed, and outcomes are evaluated.
- Sign off on decisions and outcomes based on threshold assessments.
- Monitor team performance against targets, manage staffing issues, and handle training and professional development.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and development to ensure high-quality performance and growth.
- Chair MASH meetings to evaluate case priorities, coordinate with teams (social care, early help, etc.), and discuss ongoing cases.
- Engage with partner agencies to ensure integrated, timely, and appropriate responses.
- Liaise daily with internal services (e.g., social care, early help teams) and represent MASH at MARAC (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences) meetings.

- 3 years Social worker experience.
